A PhotoShelter for Brands Case Study
The Sacramento Kings were entering a “new era” — new coach, owner, brand and arena — and needed to flood marketing and social channels with high-quality visual storytelling. Their creative team faced fragmented workflows (cards, Dropbox, zip files), limited server space, multiple photographers, and poor asset utilization — Ryan Brijs estimated 80–85% of photos weren’t being used properly.
The Kings adopted Libris, a cloud-based visual media library, giving contributors direct upload access, structured collections, layered permissions and real-time galleries. The result: faster remote uploads, centralized storage, quick department-level access, higher photo usage across marketing, ticketing and PR, and an easier way to archive and share stadium and campaign content for improved visual communications.
