How Stetson Athletics Saves Time with Photo Requests, Image Sales and the Hatters Website

Stetson Athletics, led on communications by Associate AD Ricky Hazel, needed to save time and simplify photo workflows for a small department where staff wear many hats. Storing images on an office-only university server made it slow to fulfill image requests, prevented offsite access, complicated website publishing, and offered no NCAA‑compliant way to sell parents’ photos.

Moving to PhotoShelter’s Libris cloud library with Lightroom uploads and a SIDEARM integration solved those problems: photographers upload during games, staff tag and search quickly, and photos can be pushed to the Hatters website without downloading. The Libris photo store (with vendor fulfillment and NCAA compliance) also enables easy sales; overall the department has sped up requests and publishing, reclaimed staff time, and added a modest revenue stream.
