National College for Advanced Transport & Infrastructure (NCATI) wanted a more flexible, modern technology platform to support its growing student and staff numbers while also helping the college prepare learners for the future of rail travel. Working with Phoenix Software, the college looked to Microsoft Azure and an IT support managed service to improve scalability, reduce costs, and free its internal team to focus on more strategic work.

Phoenix Software implemented Azure so NCATI could scale computing up during busy periods and reduce usage during quieter times, giving the college better control over cost and capacity. The managed service also delivered first-line support to users, leading to stronger user engagement and faster fixes on first contact, while the in-house ICT team concentrated on training, new systems, and other value-added projects.
