Joseph Rowntree Foundation creates impact in the community by providing more people with care as a result of saving money with their move to Microsoft Azure

Joseph Rowntree Foundation, a housing-sector social change organisation, needed to replace ageing infrastructure that was limiting its ability to support a modern digital workplace. The foundation worked with Phoenix Software, starting with a Surveyor 360 assessment to evaluate infrastructure, SQL and data, backup and continuity, security, and DevOps options, and to plan the right mix of on-premise, hybrid, and cloud workloads.

Phoenix Software helped Joseph Rowntree Foundation migrate infrastructure to Microsoft Azure and extend its cloud strategy into Microsoft 365 and related services, including reviewing Dynamics 365 and optimizing licences. The move reduced risk and costs, improved mobility and scalability, and enabled savings of around 50% in certain IT areas, freeing up funds to support more care and community services while also reducing the organisation’s carbon footprint.
