Accent Group worked with Phoenix Software to address ageing SAN and HPE blade infrastructure that was struggling to keep up with growing data volumes, performance demands, and disaster recovery requirements. As the housing association expanded through mergers and acquisitions, it needed a modern, scalable platform that could support current and future growth.

Phoenix Software proposed and delivered a hyperconverged infrastructure based on VMware vSphere and VMware vSAN, handling the design, installation, testing, and data migration. The new all-flash vSAN environment improved storage performance, simplified administration, strengthened DR options, reduced rack space, power and cooling, and cut VMware licence support needs from 36 to 24, with users immediately noticing faster application performance.
