Klimaneustart, a grassroots organization, faced the critical challenge of collecting 175,000 signatures for a climate referendum in Berlin within a tight three-week deadline. They engaged the mobile growth consultancy Phiture to help them utilize Performance Marketing and achieve this vital goal to trigger a vote on making the city climate neutral by 2030.

Phiture implemented a Meta ads acquisition strategy aimed at broad reach, targeting Berlin-based users with sustainability interests and using lookalike audiences. They directed traffic to Telegram groups to capture leads, using this as a proxy for tracking signatures. This solution enabled Klimaneustart to surpass its goal, collecting 261,968 signatures. Phiture's campaign reached over 500,000 people and achieved more than 1,000,000 impressions on Meta.
