ColumbiaDoctors faced a complex PQRS reporting challenge: multiple rolling TIN consolidations, disparate EHR and practice management systems, and missing billing/encounter data that risked CMS payment adjustments for more than 1,300 physicians. To address this, ColumbiaDoctors engaged Philips Wellcentive and its PQRS solution and comprehensive technology platform to manage data aggregation, measure selection, and program reporting.

Philips Wellcentive consolidated TINs, aggregated and mapped EHR, billing and NPI data, identified and resolved a ~450K encounter data gap, and performed provider-level measure selection and gap analysis before submitting PQRS data. As a result, Philips Wellcentive helped ColumbiaDoctors achieve 94% of providers meeting 2014 incentive requirements, realize approximately $1.24M in PQRS penalty avoidance (nearly $2M avoided across 2013–2014), increase the share of providers meeting incentives by 88%, and generate an anticipated additional $263K in revenue.
