SKAN, a Swiss-based pioneer in cleanroom equipment and isolator design with global manufacturing and sales operations, needed a simpler, scalable way to connect its HQ, subsidiaries and production sites to reduce executive travel and improve cross‑site collaboration. After finding their existing web conferencing tool hard to use for unscheduled and growing interactive meetings, SKAN selected Pexip and deployed Pexip’s video meetings & calling user licenses (virtual meeting rooms supporting up to 50 video users per room) plus device licenses for SIP/H.323 videoconferencing units.

Pexip delivered a cloud VCaaS solution with a mix of personal and team licenses and room devices that was easy to roll out (20‑minute training) and simple to scale by adding instant licenses. As a result, SKAN now uses video daily for internal and external meetings, has dramatically cut travel — avoiding costs of “a few thousand euros” per trip — and improved responsiveness, faster decision‑making and knowledge transfer across production teams, driving measurable cost savings and operational agility with Pexip.
