Pexip powers video surgical training in Spain

Hospital Universitario Torrecárdenas, a large public hospital in Almeria, Spain, needed a way to deliver interactive surgical training and e-learning for students and healthcare professionals, including external practitioners. The hospital wanted a user-friendly solution that could handle live operating theatre images, medical instrumentation, diagnostics, and other clinical content securely and clearly for remote participants. Pexip and Azinsol implemented a video training platform using MVM Operating Room Video Manager integrated with Pexip Infinity to provide secure, high-quality video, audio, and image sharing, plus interactive tools such as annotations and collaboration features. The solution enabled pre- and postgraduate distance teaching, remote surgery support, and video consultation, while meeting strong security and privacy requirements, including CCN audit and LINCE certification. Hospital Universitario Torrecárdenas is now expanding the program to more training courses, hospital partnerships, and nationwide collaboration.
