How ARRI adjusted for hybrid work demands with Pexip

ARRI, a Munich‑based designer and manufacturer of camera systems and lighting with 1,400 employees worldwide, faced an urgent need during the Covid‑19 pandemic to move rich visual collaboration out of offices and into people’s homes. The company had to maintain internal project work, all‑hands and customer webinars (Tech Talks) while ensuring secure, high‑quality audio/video and interoperability with Microsoft Teams. Pexip implemented a trial and then a full gateway rollout that integrated smoothly with Microsoft Teams and met GDPR requirements, enabling intercontinental meetings across ARRI’s global sites. The deployment moved from initial contact to full rollout in under three months (trial mid‑May, full rollout by July), was praised for audio/video quality and ease of use, and delivered immediate business continuity—employees and customers could “just click join.” ARRI reports positive cross‑departmental feedback and expects a long‑term relationship with Pexip.
