Case Study: Arup scales video conferencing and interoperability with Pexip

A Pexip Case Study

Preview of the Arup Case Study

Arup uses Pexip to scale its video capacity and bridge video conferencing systems with Skype for Business

Arup, a global firm of designers, engineers, and consultants, needed to overcome video conferencing interoperability challenges for its 400+ global meeting rooms. Their legacy Cisco and Tandberg infrastructure could not adequately scale, restricting meeting sizes and creating capacity issues. They required a solution to seamlessly bridge their systems with Skype for Business and allow external clients on other platforms to connect.

The company implemented the Pexip Infinity platform, a self-hosted video conferencing solution. This provided an interoperable gateway, integrating with their existing Cisco hardware and connecting to Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams. The results ensured all meeting rooms and external clients could connect seamlessly. The scalable Pexip solution eliminated capacity constraints and reduced upfront capital expenditure, as the company now only pays for what it uses.
