CultureWorks, a Greater Philadelphia non-profit, faced the common finance challenge of managing dozens of overlapping subscription accounts tied to a single debit card, creating reconciliation headaches and exposure if that card needed to be cancelled. To solve this, CultureWorks implemented PEX Virtual Vendor Cards and PEX Credit Expense from PEX.
PEX issued virtual vendor cards to group and isolate subscriptions and provided PEX Credit Expense to reduce the need for constant front-loading; the solution integrated with CultureWorks’ accounting system to automate transaction posting, made individual vendor cards easy to cancel or control, simplified reconciliation, and delivered a 1% rebate—improving organization, flexibility, and automated payment flow.
