Turck, a global leader in industrial automation with about 4,500 employees across 30 country organisations, faced the challenge of turning an organically grown HR landscape into efficient, high-quality digital processes. To reduce repetitive transactional work, improve process quality, and better train managers, Turck deployed the Personio HR platform at its Mönchengladbach sales and marketing headquarters to centralize applicant management, onboarding/offboarding, master data administration, workforce analytics and reporting.

Personio delivered a customizable, user-friendly solution that automated routine tasks (for example, automated rejection emails), replaced Outlook/Excel tracking with transparent applicant and employee workflows, and gave managers on-demand access to key data and KPIs. The rollout—now used by 350 employees—has increased process transparency, cut internal emails and manual tracking, and generated markedly better HR reporting and positive user feedback, with HR reporting a “quantum leap” in process quality thanks to Personio.
