HORIZONT e.V., a nonprofit in Munich, needed a more centralised way to manage HR as employee numbers grew after the opening of its new house in 2018. Before using Personio, HR work was decentralised across three locations, employee documents were duplicated, and the team had too little time for strategic HR work.

With Personio, HORIZONT e.V. automated onboarding, offboarding, and recruiting, integrated attendance tracking, and gave managers and employees direct access to relevant data through digital employee files. Sabrina Lang said the software reduced manual work and made it easier to generate overview lists, while managers reported better access to information and closer involvement in the recruitment process.
