American Mathematical Society - Customer Case Study

The American Mathematical Society (AMS) faced a major technology challenge: its 20-year-old, in-house systems were overdue for modernization and further in-house development was impractical and costly. AMS sought a commercial association management system with a strong base product that their technical staff could easily enhance, and selected Personify for its product strength, extensibility, and support.

Implementation took about 18 months and included AMS-led data conversion plus a mix of contracted and in-house development to adapt fit items and learn the new Microsoft-based environment. Personify and selected partner products are now used broadly across AMS staff, delivering features and capabilities they could not have built internally, improving operations, and leading into their first upgrade to the latest version.
