Huntington Launches Money Scout – Automated Savings Tools To Boost Customer Financial Resilience

Huntington Bank wanted a better way to help customers build financial resilience and save money automatically, especially as the pandemic increased the need for support. It worked with Personetics, using the Personetics Act solution to create “Money Scout,” an automated savings tool that analyzes spending, income, and upcoming expenses to find available cash in checking accounts.

Personetics implemented Money Scout to move small amounts of money, from $5 to $50, into savings up to three times a week while sending transfer alerts and progress notifications. In a four-month pilot with a few thousand customers, Huntington Bank helped users save $1.7 million, averaging $115 per month per customer, showing the impact of Personetics’ frictionless, AI-driven savings approach.
