Persistent Systems helped a US-Based Healthcare Service Provider modernize its cloud application environment for HIPAA compliance. The customer needed a centralized solution to detect and remediate non-compliant cloud resources while keeping processing logic modular across teams and allowing developers flexibility in their choice of platforms.

Persistent Systems implemented a Lambda-based architecture behind API Gateway, with AWS services including S3, Kinesis Firehose, RDS Aurora, SSM, CloudWatch, IAM, Terraform, and VPC integration. The solution used 10 Lambda functions to separate microservices, improve scalability, enable independent deployment, and reduce onboarding and production risk, while also supporting a smoother migration from the legacy web application with minimal impact.
