A Persistent Systems Case Study
Persistent Systems worked with a leading bank in Greece, serving more than 5 million customers and holding a 29% market share in loans and deposits. The bank wanted to improve its Check Processing System and Incident Management by enabling automatic routing and assignment, better integration with Equation and ICE, and stronger handling of incidents such as cash deficits/surpluses, cash in transit, branch robbery, and phishing/malware.
Persistent Systems implemented a new Appian-based application from scratch, integrated it with the bank’s third-party systems, and delivered a large multi-user enterprise solution with automatic assignment, escalations, and SLA reporting. As a result, the bank saw a dramatic reduction in check-processing errors, improved customer satisfaction and confidence, and measurable business gains including a 30% reduction in project cost, a 30% increase in productivity, and a 100% success rate.
