Persistent Systems helped PickMe, a Sri Lankan ride-hailing and mobility solutions startup, to increase its service agility, availability, and scalability. The customer needed robust and scalable cloud-based mapping and productivity solutions to support its essential service and growth into new areas like food delivery and logistics.

The solution implemented by Persistent, leveraging its Google Business Unit's expertise, was the provisioning of Google Maps Platform and Google Workspace. Google Maps APIs were used for location services and calculating optimal routes, while Google Workspace improved internal collaboration. This provided a seamless, scalable infrastructure that positioned PickMe for continued domestic growth and future market expansion, with plans to deploy new machine learning models and data dashboards on Google Cloud.
