Persistent Systems worked with a leading medicine company that develops digital therapies, including an authorized ADHD treatment, to build an innovative video game-based therapy for improving sustained attention. The challenge was to turn raw 2D game images into useful 3D data points and define training and test data without labels, so the company could better understand gameplay and patient performance.

Persistent Systems used AI and machine learning to layer a bot on top of the client’s existing bots, generating more realistic gameplay data instead of simulated backend output. Persistent Systems also created JSON frame data, built models to extract insights from images and JSON, and developed a centralized reporting backend. The solution enabled automated processing of 50,000 hours of bot testing and made it possible to generate 100s of hours of gameplay at scale, dramatically reducing manual effort.
