Persistent Systems helped a Health Intelligence Company address the urgent challenge of making workplaces safe for employees and customers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The company needed a way to identify close interactions, trace forward and backward exposure paths, and assess risk quickly, while ensuring no PII was captured and the solution could be rolled out fast.

Using Persistent Data Foundry, Persistent Systems leveraged pre-built components such as Graph DB, API Gateway, and Lambda to create a contact tracing platform with a mobile app, a risk engine, and an interaction network graph with 15-day archival. The solution achieved zero PII data capture and provided global visibility into location data, employee distribution, and interaction patterns, along with dashboards to identify exposed or high-risk employees and trace interactions for positive or quarantined cases.
