How Persistent supported SERF to enhance sales efficiency with Salesforce

SERF, a global leader in orthopedic implants for hips, knees, and feet, needed a professional CRM to replace email and Excel-based sales tracking for its field team across France. The sales organization also wanted better lead management, stock visibility in clinical settings, and more effective reporting and forecasting. Persistent Systems was chosen to implement Salesforce Sales Cloud.

Persistent Systems delivered a personalized Salesforce Sales Cloud solution integrated with SERF’s ERP (Cegid), designed around the needs of a mobile sales team with varying IT experience. The result was centralized access to customer and stock data, real-time mobile reporting, faster loan-request approvals, and improved sales visibility and forecasting. The project was completed in six months, and SERF has since signed an annual service contract with Persistent Systems for ongoing support.
