Corteva Agriscience, a global provider of crop seeding, protection, and growth solutions, wanted to digitize its ordering process across France and several European subsidiaries. The company needed a single, easy-to-use tool for sales teams to access and update customer data, generate PDF documents, and work reliably even in “white zones” with little or no internet connectivity. To support this initiative, Corteva partnered with Persistent Systems and used Pulsar from Luminix, integrated with Salesforce.
Persistent Systems implemented Pulsar offline-connected to Salesforce so sales representatives could manage orders directly from tablets in the field, even without a network connection. The solution was rolled out in five countries—France, Romania, Spain, Germany, and the United Kingdom—and over 80% of Corteva’s sales teams adopted it. The new process enabled real-time data capture, on-the-spot document completion, direct submission to head office, and reduced input errors, all while meeting a tight six-month delivery timeline.
