An American healthcare company specializing in technology and care services faced the challenge of unifying three complex and cumbersome legacy systems into a single, cohesive platform. The project required meticulous migration of sensitive clinical data (PHI) and the creation of an intuitive user experience for clinicians, all while managing technical constraints. They partnered with Persistent to develop this new system, which would function as a mini-EMR on the Salesforce platform.

Persistent implemented a solution using Salesforce Health Cloud, developing reusable components and five distinct portals. They built a custom clinical assessment engine and an intelligent ICD/CPT code suggestion tool. A reusable integration layer supported 21 different systems. The outcome was a highly successful platform that handles over 6 million transactions daily without performance issues, significantly accelerating time to market for the client.
