A Persistent Systems Case Study

Preview of the Global Entertainment Company Case Study

Entertainment giant leverages Persistent’s solution to measure their audience emotions and reactions during live performances

A global entertainment company faced the challenge of measuring audience engagement during its live performances. Their traditional method of post-show feedback forms was ineffective, as it failed to capture the audience's real-time emotional reactions throughout the event. To address this, they engaged Persistent Systems to develop a solution using their patent-pending sentiment analysis platform on Google Cloud.

Persistent Systems built a Minimum Viable Model that processed audience video footage using two deep learning pipelines. The first pipeline performed facial sentiment analysis to gauge emotions, while the second detected actions like applause to measure engagement. The solution, delivered in just three weeks, successfully provided the client with a detailed timeline of audience reactions, allowing them to precisely measure the impact of their performances.
