A Persistent Systems Case Study
Persistent Systems helped a leading cloud-based company, a technology-driven benefits provider based in Chicago, prepare for life as a standalone business after a divestiture. The client needed to quickly build an independent IT environment and ensure secure, uninterrupted access to applications and data from day 1, while also meeting TSA requirements and completing the transition away from the parent company’s data centers before all applications had moved to AWS.
Persistent Systems implemented a zero-trust security architecture using the Zscaler suite, including Zscaler Private Access and app connectors, along with endpoint, network, identity, and monitoring tools such as MS Defender, Azure AD, SIEM, Fortinet, and Meraki. This enabled secure access to more than 1,500 applications and endpoints, allowed the company to stay compliant with TSA obligations, and delivered an estimated 30% savings in licenses and vendor fees.
