The Atlantic Credit Union System, a consortium supporting over 40 credit unions, faced a significant challenge when its heavily customized legacy core banking platform was scheduled for sunset. They needed a partner to modernize the system with fully integrated technology solutions that would maintain critical integrations and support modern payment standards, all while reducing costs and enabling growth for their member unions. Persistent Systems implemented a solution using Mambu and a multi-tenant Mule platform with a React JS-based Teller UI. This modernized the branch interface with over 200 screens and 50 unique flows, while over 500 Mule APIs ensured all existing integrations remained operational. The outcome for the customer was a reduced time-to-market, improved operational efficiency for 150 branches, and enhanced user experiences for 300,000 members.
