A Persistent Systems Case Study
Piraeus Bank, Greece’s largest lender, was focused on strengthening its role in the Greek economy while unifying operations across multiple acquired banks. To support this digital transformation, the bank worked with Persistent Systems and its partner Appian to improve process excellence and create more effective ecosystems for internal and external stakeholders.
Persistent Systems helped Piraeus Bank integrate seven acquired banks and build a digital, results-driven platform for web and mobile banking. The outcome was a digital and innovative banking platform that the bank describes as the best in Greece and among the best in Europe, with no additional quantitative metrics provided.
