Persistent Systems helped a large biopharmaceutical company address gaps in Salesforce Health Cloud, which did not maintain history and could not easily support full and incremental data loads, dynamic schema updates, or SCD Type 2 history in the company’s Snowflake-based data warehouse. The customer also needed a solution that could handle data quality, governance, and protected PII/PHI data.

Persistent Systems built a reusable data replication framework using IICS for ELT and Snowflake as the target warehouse, with a parametrized stored procedure to support dynamic schema changes and SCD Type 2 history. The solution replicated 150+ Salesforce Health Cloud objects in three months, enabled column additions from Salesforce to Snowflake, delivered near-real-time incremental builds every 30 minutes, and provided encryption at rest plus a deidentified data copy for sensitive data.
