Bayport Financial Services improves customer’s lives in emerging markets

Bayport Financial Services, which serves underbanked rural communities across Africa and Latin America, needed a faster way to launch multi-channel financial services for government employees and other customers. Its existing banking systems were siloed and lacked proper reconciliation, making it difficult to deliver new offerings quickly.

Persistent Systems implemented its Digital Banking Solution, a cloud-based core banking platform powered by Mambu, to integrate Bayport’s disparate systems and in-house applications. Using an agile approach, Persistent Systems helped Bayport roll out a pilot in just four months and achieve easier loan disbursement, ACH processing, automatic card linking, CRM and marketing support, and a reduced time to market for new financial products.
