As a legendary NHL franchise with energy-intensive facilities and unique needs like ice maintenance and Zamboni fuel, they needed a way to calculate their carbon footprint and build a clearer path toward their sustainability goals.

Persefoni provided its carbon accounting platform, including Persefoni Advanced, along with expert training and support to help the Penguins upload operational data and streamline emissions reporting. The team was able to identify emission hotspots, improve carbon accounting for scope 1 and 2 emissions, and create a stronger foundation for future reductions, including scope 3 business travel emissions, helping them move closer to net zero.
