Xerox worked with Persefoni to improve its carbon accounting as it pursued a net-zero emissions goal by 2040 and prepared for expanding climate disclosure requirements. The company needed a more comprehensive, auditable, and granular way to track Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions across hundreds of facilities and global reporting frameworks.

Persefoni provided its carbon accounting platform and expert support to migrate Xerox off spreadsheets, close data gaps, standardize methodologies, and strengthen audit-ready reporting. The result was 5.6 million metric tons of CO2e quantified across three reporting years, 115,000 rows of data across 26 emissions sources, and an estimated 40% improvement in the speed of calculating Xerox’s GHG inventory, with better Scope 3 reporting and greater confidence in regulatory alignment.
