HIMSS improves site speed tenfold with Perpetual

The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), a non-profit focused on health technology innovation, needed a digital platform to connect its vast network of healthcare professionals and improve the accessibility of the health ecosystem. They engaged Perpetual to develop the Accelerate application, which required comprehensive UX research, web and mobile app development, and an eLearning experience.

Perpetual built the HIMSS Accelerate platform using ReactJS, PostgreSQL, and AWS infrastructure. Their solution included an efficient user onboarding process, significant site speed improvements, an Elastic Search integration that increased search speed tenfold, and a full eLearning system with Open edX. The platform successfully launched for the HIMSS Global Conference, onboarding thousands of global users and several learning partners who now offer online certifications through it.
