Natural Dog Company, a natural pet-care brand known for its healing balms and expanding range of supplements and shampoos, faced the challenge of driving new-to-brand customers and increasing lifetime value as it scaled beyond DTC into retail and Amazon. Initially reliant on branded search ads, the team shifted to a category- and competitor-conquesting strategy on Amazon Sponsored Display to dominate Product Detail Pages (PDPs) and launch higher-LTV products—engaging Perpetua to support that transition.
Perpetua implemented and optimized Amazon Sponsored Display campaigns by pulling data from Sponsored Product campaigns, adjusting bids, and running always-on optimizations to own ad placements on both their own and competitors’ PDPs. The results with Perpetua were a 4x increase in Sponsored Display sales, a 40% lift in total sales, an 88% rise in impressions, a 133% increase in CTR, a 120%+ scale in Sponsored spend while cutting branded spend by 40%, and faster ability to launch and measure brand-defense and competitor-conquest strategies.
