Gaming Innovation Group connects 10 GbE fiber to copper with Perle in Malta data center

Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) needed to build a robust network for its iGaming Cloud data center in Malta, which operates on a 10-Gigabit Ethernet copper infrastructure. Their challenge was integrating incoming single-mode fiber services from their ISP and connecting multimode fiber equipment to this copper-based network. To bridge this connectivity gap, GIG turned to Perle and its media converters.

Perle implemented its 10G Managed Media Converters housed in an MCR1900 Modular Chassis System. This solution provided the necessary flexibility to convert both single-mode and multimode fiber to 10 GbE copper, seamlessly connecting all of the data center's equipment.
