Sugarloaf, the employee rewards and incentives program used by National Entertainment Network (NEN), switched to PerkUp after running into problems with its previous gift card provider. Employees were often unable to redeem rewards easily on mobile devices, which forced HR to manually ask each recipient what gift card they wanted, redeem it, and email it out.
With PerkUp, Sugarloaf implemented spot rewards, new hire swag, and unused-funds retention, giving employees flexible Visa cards they could use anywhere and allowing them to combine rewards for larger purchases. PerkUp also streamlined swag ordering for new hires and improved reporting and budget visibility; Sugarloaf saw a better rewards experience, higher swag redemptions, and the ability to reclaim unredeemed funds.
