PossAbilities is a thriving independent social enterprise supporting people with learning disabilities, dementia and young people leaving care, with a turnover just under £7 million and a recent OUTSTANDING rating from the Care Quality Commission. Facing a competitive marketplace and wanting simple, creative ways to show staff they care and boost wellbeing, PossAbilities introduced the Perkbox employee perks platform as an extension of its existing staff benefits and engagement initiatives.

Perkbox delivered an easy-to-use benefits app and offers that integrated with PossAbilities’ internal comms (Yammer), prompting “lots of positive feedback” and widespread use of perks such as mobile phone insurance, cinema tickets and Tastecard. The Perkbox solution has increased staff engagement, complemented existing wellbeing programs and, according to leaders and frontline staff, “fitted in very nicely” with the organisation’s values.
