GitLab, the complete DevOps platform, needed a way to make reporting faster and more usable for its data team and broader organization. After moving from Google’s managed Postgres instance to Snowflake, the team wanted a tool that would let them write SQL, visualize results, and go further with Python or R when needed.

GitLab chose Periscope Data to help analysts and engineers move quickly and answer more complex questions using data from systems such as Zuora, Salesforce, Zendesk, and GitLab application data.
