ID Logistics Benelux, a major third-party logistics provider, was faced with significant operational challenges at a new site in 's Hertogenbosch. Without a gatekeeper, the site risked traffic jams and required a flexible system to manage a high volume of trucks and on-demand containers. Internal personnel changes and an urgent need to design a new traffic management plan from scratch further complicated the start-up process. They turned to Peripass and its yard management platform to gain control and visibility.

Peripass implemented its Yard Control Tower solution, which included a self-service kiosk for drivers to register, providing real-time visibility of all truck and container movements. The solution was integrated with ID Logistics' Transport Management System for seamless data flow. Peripass also provided crucial hardware support and expert logistics consulting to design the new site's processes. The result was a flawless go-live, enabling the site to efficiently handle a very high turnover of approximately 270 cargos daily with strict lead times. The implementation was so successful that users are now requesting Peripass be rolled out to the company's other sites.
