REA Group, a Melbourne‑based multinational digital property advertising business, faced major sales compensation challenges from an Excel‑based commission process: data inaccuracies, frequent disputes and payment errors that meant it took close to two weeks to calculate commissions. Seeking a modern solution, REA evaluated several vendors and selected Performio’s cloud‑native incentive compensation platform to replace their manual spreadsheets.
Performio was implemented in under four months across four lines of business (residential, commercial, media, developer) and now supports 165 users with pre‑built connectors to Salesforce and NetSuite. Daily dashboards and automated calculations have drastically reduced sales queries and post‑calculation effort, improved data visibility, and enabled REA to adjust payout rates and targets to drive revenue outcomes and sales behavior.
