Hudl, a sports performance analysis software company based in Lincoln, NE, was struggling to manage incentive compensation for its sales organization. The operations team relied on Excel to run commissions for more than 200 reps, requiring two full‑time employees each month and producing frequent data errors, cash reconciliation issues and distrust from sales reps. Seeking a modern solution for more accurate calculations, reporting and forecasting, Hudl selected Performio’s incentive compensation management platform.
Performio was implemented for its strong calculation engine, exception reporting and user interface, and integrated with Hudl’s Salesforce and accounting systems to automatically import sales and invoice data and flag commissions ready for payment. As a result, Performio now supports commissions for 350 reps, lets managers and reps self‑serve with dashboards, and has massively reduced payment processing time—allowing the same FTE headcount to manage roughly three times the revenue and more than twice the number of sales reps. Hudl also credits Performio’s support for a smooth rollout and increased confidence to pursue advanced payment and clawback policies.
