Performics partnered with Unum to grow engagement for the @AskUnum Twitter account, targeting influential B2B professionals, employers, advisers and employees. The brief was to raise awareness of Unum’s "Creating companies that care" blueprint and associated thought leadership—covering leadership, wellness strategy, absence & case management, return to work, benefits balance and workplace protection—by building a more engaged, relevant follower base.

The campaign used promoted accounts to scale followers and promoted tweets to distribute high‑quality content, with three tactics driving success: keyword targeting to reach the right audience, linking to thought leadership that matched audience interests, and continuously refreshing content to amplify top performers. In five months the account gained 3,700 new followers, drove a 480% increase in blog traffic and achieved a peak engagement rate of 8.62%.
