A Perforce Case Study
Prismax, a motion design and live entertainment graphics company, needed a better way to collaborate as it expanded into virtual production during the pandemic. While building large Unreal Engine-based experiences like the first paid international virtual music festival, the team struggled with file searching, overwritten changes, and chaotic workflows, making it hard to scale quickly.
Perforce Helix Core gave Prismax a central version control system for creative assets, improving global collaboration and streamlining development inside Unreal Engine. With Perforce, Prismax reduced file confusion, avoided corrupt files, and created a single source of truth for projects; the company now supports 10 users with plans to expand, alongside a freelancer team of about 20, while continuing to take on larger virtual production and visualization projects worldwide.
