Verizon’s development team needed better end-to-end traceability to manage software requirements, issues, and test cases across the lifecycle of its security applications. To address this challenge, Verizon chose Perforce’s Helix ALM to connect requirements, design documents, use cases, source code, and other artifacts while improving collaboration and testing.
Perforce implemented Helix ALM to let Verizon generate test cases from requirements, link requirements to tests and change requests, and track customer feedback and issues in one system. The result was stronger project control, better team collaboration, and more robust reporting and integration capabilities, helping Verizon improve service quality and accelerate its traceability initiative.
