How Schneider Electric Scaled Agile Development With Helix Plan

Schneider Electric’s Buildings division needed a scalable way to manage complex software projects as it shifted from Waterfall to Agile using SAFe and LeSS. After evaluating 13 tools, the team selected Perforce’s Helix Plan (formerly Hansoft) because it could support large-scale planning, customization, and easy adoption across software and hardware teams.

Perforce implemented Helix Plan to let Schneider Electric mix Agile and traditional methods, share visibility across projects, and continuously refine backlogs. The result was a smoother transition, stronger employee buy-in, and considerably shorter lead times; the company now runs about 30 development projects simultaneously in Helix Plan.
