A Perforce Case Study
Final Pixel is a global creative studio specializing in virtual production, and it needed a better way to manage the many large assets used in its Unreal Engine-based virtual backgrounds. Before Perforce Helix Core, the team relied on slow file transfers and manual back-and-forth to track versions, which made collaboration cumbersome and risked confusion over the correct files.
Perforce implemented Helix Core as Final Pixel’s version control system, giving the studio a single source of truth for digital assets and real-time change tracking across remote teams. The result was faster production, easier asset reuse, and quicker on-set updates—changes could be synced in minutes or seconds, helping Final Pixel keep shoots moving and collaborate globally with greater control.
