Bachofen AG, a Swiss leader in industrial automation, faced growing e-commerce demands that their existing Microsoft Dynamics NAV–driven webshop could not meet. Product data lived in individual datasheets rather than a central system, making catalog creation and customer-facing product information (descriptions, images, filters) hard to manage. To address this, Bachofen selected the Perfion PIM system to centralize and structure multi-dimensional product information.

Perfion was implemented and integrated with Dynamics NAV and the new Sana Commerce webshop so Perfion and the ERP can feed all product data directly to the B2B webshop. Product managers now enrich and maintain 10–15,000 items in three languages in Perfion as a single source of truth, laying the foundation for a modern, user-friendly webshop and improving catalog workflows — an investment Perfion says is already paying off today.
