erfal, a German manufacturer of privacy and sun‑protection products, insect screens and curtain systems, struggled with inconsistent product information and time‑consuming double maintenance across multiple data sources while preparing a new website and webshop for specialist retailers. To solve this, erfal selected Perfion’s PIM (Product Information Management) solution to centralize and streamline product data management.

Perfion implemented a central PIM integrated with erfal’s Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 ERP, OXID eSales ecommerce and SIX web CMS, creating a single four‑language product database so updates occur automatically and simultaneously across channels. As a result, Perfion has become erfal’s central data hub, improving data quality, accelerating product launches, reducing time spent gathering information, and enabling future catalog production — with Perfion’s documented payback typically under a year.
