plus6 Werkzeuge GmbH & Co.KG, an association of 11 independent German tool wholesalers selling the plus6 brand and many leading manufacturers’ products, struggled to deliver the enormous and varied product data held in its graphic-designed catalogs. Each catalog contains more than 35,000 articles and the different structures meant plus6 could not meet partners’ data requirements or reuse content for other channels like webshops. To solve this, plus6 turned to Perfion’s product information management (PIM) solution.

Using Perfion, plus6 restructured its product catalogs in a single, configurable database, enabling direct export of data, text and images and supporting more than 30 campaigns and flyers per year plus individual partner advertising. Perfion made up-to-date product information available to partners at any time, prepared the group to roll out partner webshops, and delivered an easy, fast implementation; Perfion also documents a return on investment in under a year.
