A Perfion Case Study
Aloys F. Dornbracht GmbH & Co. KG (Dornbracht), an international premium manufacturer of bathroom and kitchen fittings with 9,000 end products and 40,000 purchase/manufacturing items, faced inconsistent, manually managed product data spread across Excel lists and external advertising agencies. This made versioning, multi-channel output and internal collaboration difficult, so Dornbracht selected the Perfion Product Information Management (PIM) solution to centralize and control its product information.
Perfion was implemented as the master data server and interface within Dornbracht’s Microsoft systems architecture (integrating with Microsoft Dynamics AX, Dynamics CRM, Office 365, SharePoint, Sitecore, DAM and keytech PLM), providing a single source of truth. As a result, Perfion eliminated the need for an advertising agency (immediate savings of €70,000), enabled internally produced ready-to-print price lists of up to 1,000 pages within four months, manages data in 19 languages, and delivered improved data quality, faster workflows and reduced translation and maintenance costs.
